The GB is the decision-making body of the Chips Joint Undertaking (JU), responsible for the overall strategic direction of the JU
and ensuring alignment with the relevant objectives and policies of the European Union.
The GB oversees the operations and implementation of activities
within the JU. Reflecting the tripartite nature of the JU, the GB is composed of representatives from the European Commission, Participating States, and
Private Members.
The GB holds ordinary meetings at least twice a year in Brussels, and the position of Chairperson rotates annually among the Private Members,
Participating States, and the Commission.
